Most students do not receive the career development support they need to be successful in the labor market. As the world of work becomes more complex, the majority (67%) of 25- to 34-year-olds across all education attainment levels face difficulty entering the job market because they lack a degree or certification that allows them to secure a living-wage job.
Despite the fact that career relevancy is the newest metric of student engagement and likelihood of success for students and policy makers, most sectors of higher ed are slow to react.
