About Our Past Event

COVID-19 has shined a spotlight on school districts’ increasing reliance on technology tools to meet their educational and administrative goals. While many district leaders made quick decisions to roll out new applications or increase licenses for existing products to accommodate virtual operations in 2020, they must now manage an increasingly complex and bloated portfolio of IT products.

Our research explores how progressive technology leaders are establishing new rules of engaging with their own stakeholders as well as vendors to optimize their IT portfolio in an era of constrained budgets.

Session

In this executive roundtable, we will discuss strategies district leaders can use to:

  • Align curriculum and IT planning to reduce digital sprawl
  • Realize ed-tech’s potential by improving adoption of existing products
  • Negotiate with vendors pre-purchase and during renewals
  • Identify and sunset low-performing products

The session will have a didactic presentation plus interactive sessions.

This session is best suited for Directors of IT, Chief Technology Officers, or Chief Information Officers where appropriate.

  • Thursday, March 18 | 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time
