About Our Past Event

Large, experienced continuing and online education units have unique needs. This invite-only cohort brings together leaders of such units to explore together key trends in the industry.

First, in October we will convene to examine the first installment of EAB’s Industry Futures 2021 study, focused on how the digital revolution brings new skills – and thus new curricular needs – to a broad range of industries and academic programs. Second, in November we’ll delve into the landscape of alternative credential providers and explore what it means for higher education as both an opportunity and a threat. Then, in December, we’ll continue our examination of the Industry Futures research with a deep dive into fintech and how this emerging field should (or shouldn’t) be incorporated into credit and non-credit academic programs.

Cohort events will begin with an in-depth explainer of the impacts of Digital Revolution technologies across industries and what opportunities exist for institutions to imbue academic programming with in-demand technical skills. Furthermore, this roundtable will help you understand the impacts of these new technologies and identify what opportunities exist to embed cutting-edge technological skills across disciplines
