Join us for a COVID-19 virtual working session

Academic advisors and faculty traditionally relied on in-person meetings with their advisees to check-in with students and provide necessary course selection guidance. With the current disruption caused by COVID-19 it is more challenging to make sure advisors can connect with all advisees and identify students who need the most support.

In this virtual working session, you will discuss how to adapt advising procedures with a small group of peers. Participants will have the chance to share their own ideas, explore how peers are reshaping their advising programs, and help shape and direct EAB research. Topics include:

  • How to manage advising caseloads in a remote environment?
  • How to identify students who need support while remote?
  • How to refer students to available resources when all services may not have transitioned online?
  • How to support registration for the fall given current uncertainties?

Sessions are best suited for institutional student success leaders. Please limit your registration to only one session. Use the drop-down menu above to register for the session that best fits your schedule.
