Data-Informed Differentiated Care Retention Strategies Workshop

This Differentiated Care workshop series will help you create a data-informed campaign to help move the needle on retention and enrollment goals.

Partners will plan their strategies with Strategic Leaders and a community of Starfish users in groups based on an intervention of their choice: academic recovery or re-enrollment. Breakout groups will work together to configure their strategies in Starfish. The cohort series will wrap up with an assessment plan. Partners will finish this cohort ready to deploy and assess a differentiated care strategy in 2024.

Strategic Leader, Student Success

Amy came to EAB with nearly twenty years of higher education experience in academic advising, curriculum management, academic affairs, and student services. As a Strategic Leader for Starfish, she uses her expertise implementing and optimizing technology in these areas to support her partners and their students.

In her free time, Amy enjoys horseback riding and spends most of her time at a stable near her home in Maryland.

Rujjares Hansapiromchok

Rujjares Hansapiromchok

Partner Success Manager, Starfish

Rujjares joined EAB’s Starfish team in June 2023. She has professional experience in higher education at private and public universities within academic and student affairs. Rujjares served as a Senior Academic Advisor working with 1600+ undergraduate students. Within this role, she also led the New Student Orientation and instructed first-year business school students on professional and personal development to prepare them to be forward-thinking and inclusive business leaders. Additionally, Rujjares served as an Academic Success Coach, working with students on probation, suspension, and at-risk students. During her graduate studies, Rujjares was selected as a United Nations Association fellow and focused on Sustainable Development Goal 4, ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. As a Partner Success Manager, Rujjares supports partners in developing and strategizing plans and best practices to promote student success, improve processes, and help partners reach their institutional goals with a student-centered approach.

John Kulak

Strategic Leader

John joined EAB as a Strategic Leader in 2022 after over ten years of professional experience in higher education. His background in academic advising and retention technologies has provided him with a proven student-facing skillset in student success efforts. As a Strategic Leader, John helps his campus partners plan their roadmaps to their retention goals.

John is native to upstate New York and a graduate of the SUNY system. In addition to talking intervention workflows and assessments, he also enjoys college basketball and volunteering his time at a local art gallery.

John graduated in 2007 from SUNY Geneseo with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and in 2011 from SUNY College at Buffalo with a Master of Science degree in Higher Education Administration.

Elaine Sheehan

Elaine Sheehan

Strategic Leader, Student Success

Elaine joined EAB’s Starfish team in 2021. Prior to that, she worked in an array of student affairs positions at a variety of institutional types, including housing at a small liberal art institution, admissions in a research-one graduate program, and in Starfish implementation at a community college. Elaine completed her master's degree in education at the University of Utah, emphasizing in student affairs administration and social justice leadership in higher education. Immediately before joining EAB, she worked as a Starfish system administrator for Salt Lake Community College in Utah where she initially fell in love with Starfish as a tool for student success.

Megan Speakman

Megan Speakman

Senior Strategic Leader, Student Success

As a strategic leader, Megan has led over 40 partners as she helps align the institution's strategic vision for student success to the technology, ensuring each institution’s workflows drives students to the interventions propelling both the student and the institution forward with their success initiatives.

Prior to her role at EAB, Megan has over 10 years of experience in Higher Education, with the most recent in the role of Starfish administrator at Columbus State Community College, a large, multi-site campus in Central Ohio where she oversaw the Starfish program from implementation to institutionalization for 5.5 years. Additionally, Megan has worked as an advisor, part-time faculty member, and professional tutor with several of those roles utilizing the Starfish platform. In addition to her work with partner institutions, Megan has the privilege of overseeing a team of strategic leaders at EAB.
