Since joining EAB’s research department in 2019, Carolyn has conducted research projects for university leaders on topics ranging from residence life operations to the creation of sustainability action plans. Her research currently focuses on what university leaders can expect during, and following, the COVID-19 crisis.
Carolyn’s interest in the administrative side of higher education developed over her time as an undergraduate when she worked closely with the Dean of her alma mater to design and implement First@Midd, a pre-orientation program for first-generation college students.
Outside of the office, you can find Carolyn baking elaborate desserts, trying to complete the crossword without auto-check, and drawing up long-term plans to one day start her own organic farm.
Carolyn graduated with honors from Middlebury College where she earned a B.A. in International Studies with minors in French and Psychology.
