Daniel Gordon serves as Director on the Strategic Research team. Daniel specializes in research related to academic program launch, program revitalization, program evaluation, and career development.
Daniel previously directed EAB’s short-term research service, where he supervised the team responsible for short turnaround research delivery across all EAB’s research terrains. He also led the creation of a dedicated on-demand research function for K-12 school districts.
Before joining EAB, Daniel served in the Dean of Students office and the President’s Office at Yale-NUS College in Singapore during the college’s second year of operation. While there, he analyzed academic program performance, helped refine the core curriculum’s science component, mentored a cohort of sophomore students, and evaluated college applicants.
Daniel received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with departmental honors from Haverford College. Upon graduation, he received the Herman M. Somers Prize in Political Science for his thesis work, which focused on the for-profit college political response to the Department of Education’s gainful employment regulations.
