Gavriel is a Research Analyst at EAB. Since joining EAB, she has completed research on behalf of school district superintendents and university facilities officers on topics including the state of the superintendency, employee experience, district-wide flashpoints and divisive conversations, and multi-modal campus space.
Prior to joining EAB, Gavriel was a middle school special education teacher in West Philadelphia. During this time, she also fulfilled a two-year commitment as a Teacher for America, Greater Philadelphia Corps member.
Outside of work, Gavriel can be found playing tennis or exploring Philadelphia’s best restaurants. Gavriel is an avid Philadelphia sports fan living through all the best moments and the heartbreaks.
Gavriel holds a master’s degree in urban education and special education from University Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education and a bachelor’s degree in government from Franklin and Marshall College.
