Harrison Guthorn serves as a Strategic Leader at EAB focusing on partnering with large public and private institutions. He is responsible for strengthening and overseeing executive member relationships, promoting member utilization and engagement. He works with higher education executives across all aspects of the higher education life cycle.

Harrison Guthorn serves as a Strategic Leader at EAB focusing on partnering with large public and private institutions. He is responsible for strengthening and overseeing executive member relationships, promoting member utilization and engagement. He works with higher education executives across all aspects of the higher education life cycle.
Prior to joining EAB, Harrison had worked in research and education for over 10 years. He most recently served as a Senior Program Officer at the Sultan Qaboos Cultural Center, where he oversaw the center’s education and cultural outreach programming. In addition to other research roles, Harrison also served as a lecturer of Modern Middle East History at both the University of Virginia and the University of Maryland College Park.
He likes to spend his free time working in his garden, cooking for family and friends, and playing with his golden retriever Magnolia May.
Education
Harrison completed his Ph.D. in Modern Middle East History at the University of Maryland, College Park. He graduated cum laude from Cornell University and majored in History and Near Eastern Studies. Harrison is also a certified Project Management Professional, PMP.
