Samantha Smith is a senior analyst for Research Development at EAB. During her time at the firm, she has worked primarily with the COE Forum, helping members improve their organizational structures to more efficiently deliver high-quality online and adult-serving education. That work has led her to assisting with other data products at EAB, such as benchmarking reports and diagnostics.
Samantha started her career as a research assistant on the U.S. Politics team at Pew Research Center where she helped design and report on nationally-representative surveys that assess the public’s opinions on a wide range of topics. Her favorite topics of interest include generational research and educational equity. In her free time,Samantha enjoys traveling –her favorite destination is Tokyo, and she gets together with her family each year to go camping, usually somewhere in New England.
Samantha earned a B.A. in history and political science summa cum laude from Stonehill College. Her M.S. in data science is from George Washington University, where she specialized in computational social science.
