Tyler Richardett is an analyst for Academic Performance Solutions at EAB. In his role, Tyler is responsible for surfacing insights from APS data which inform platform enhancements and members’ on-campus initiatives. He also applies machine learning techniques to help members generate the most accurate and actionable comparisons from APS benchmarking data.
Prior to EAB, Tyler worked for New America’s education policy program, where he used written and visual mediums to convey complex public policy and economic concepts to key stakeholders and decision makers. His work at New America received a national award in data visualization.
Outside of work, Tyler is passionate about using data analysis and visualization to shed light on issues of access to and mobility within youth soccer structures. He also earned a year-long fellowship with North Yard Analytics, granting him the privilege of conducting statistical analyses on detailed match data from the 2018–19 EFL Championship season.
Tyler earned a B.A. in public relations and strategic communications summa cum laude from American University. He is set to earn an M.S. in data analytics engineering from George Mason University in 2020.
