Ben Court

Senior Director, K-12 Research

Ben Court is a Senior Director with EAB’s K-12 practice, helping school and district executive teams to implement evidence-based strategies for improving student success and optimizing mental health supports. Ben also leads the development of strategy workshops to support K-12 executive teams as they reimagine the future of their institutions.

Prior to joining EAB, Ben worked in multiple roles across both public and independent schools in the US and UK, gaining experience in educational leadership, communications, and program management, alongside several happy years in the classroom.

A review of 100+ district strategic plans shows that most districts are working toward the same goals, but the five-year planning process can make employees feel as though the "goalposts" are always shifting. Through working with districts, colleges, and universities to set strategy for more than a decade, EAB has found that establishing an annual strategy process that uses both internal and external data to set strategic priorities leads to more effective and manageable work for all involved.
