It focuses on both in-classroom and out-of-classroom support systems, as well as ways to engage students’ guardians in mental health service delivery. Key observations from our research 1. Many profiled districts use student support teams to coordinate mental health service delivery for students in need. 2. Partnerships with external mental health providers bolster district-provided support services. 3. Profiled districts rely heavily on federal Project AWARE grant funding to support mental health services. 4.
