Thirty-two states and the District of Columbia have now passed laws or implemented new policies to promote evidence-based reading instruction. Professional development for teachers is a crucial first step, but research has shown that many districts are struggling to turn theory into practice. EAB’s four-month “Leading for Literacy” pathway equips district leaders to follow a proven playbook for implementing and sustaining science-based reading instruction in schools.

Engage in the four critical stages of the Collaborative:
1. Build a Shared Vision for Literacy
2. Establish District-level Requirements
3. Prepare Principals to Lead School-level Implementation
4. Ensure Teachers Have Agency Through the Change Process

By participating, district leaders will receive:

Every Resource Needed, Ready to Use

Sessions

Click the Register button to sign up for the session. These sessions are best suited for superintendents, chief academic officers, assistant superintendents, directors of curriculum and instruction, principal supervisors. Registration for each session is limited to three attendees per institution.
