Yolanda Coleman

Director, Counselor Marketing

A lifelong educator, Yolanda has spent more than 15 years in K-12 and higher education. As the Director of Counselor Marketing, she oversees global counselor strategy, brand awareness, and engagement for Appily and Match, powered by Concourse. Before assuming her current role, Yolanda was an Associate Director of College Counseling. Her advocacy and support for students included creating a nationally recognized anti-bias guide for recommendation letters and collaborating with a coalition of educators and state legislators to advocate for need-based financial aid in Georgia.

Her higher education career included positions in the admissions office at UNC Chapel Hill, where she created and led the Counselors & Colleagues Team, and with the Levine Scholars Program at UNC Charlotte, where she oversaw recruitment, scholar selection, and operations.

Yolanda earned her M.S.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania and spent her undergraduate years at the University of Missouri, earning degrees in Journalism and Black Studies. When she is not adding stamps to her passport, Yolanda can be found cooking, at her favorite hot yoga studio, or practicing mixed martial arts.
