Monica Streifer
Director, Research Growth Strategy
Monica is a Director on the Research Growth Strategy team, where she works in product development focused on the four-year North American market. At EAB, Monica has worked closely with presidents, provosts, and board chairs while conducting research on shared governance, trusteeship, and university governance. She has led the development of EAB’s partnership for University Deans, and has managed the build and launch of new tools and services to support enrollment strategy, faculty and staff engagement, and talent policy.
Prior to joining EAB, Monica worked as a professor of Italian literature and interdisciplinary Humanities at UC Riverside, William & Mary, and Bucknell University. She currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees of The Athenian School, an independent day and boarding school serving grades 6-12 in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Monica received a Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles. She attended Scripps College in Claremont, California, where she graduated with a B.A. magna cum laude in European Studies and a minor in Foreign Languages.
