Julia Philyaw, Ed.D.

Julia Philyaw is a Principal in EAB's Consulting Practice, and a subject matter expert on institutional strategy and planning, academic affairs, student success, enrollment, and change management.

Julia has held a variety of roles in higher education administration and management consulting. Her diverse career has afforded her the opportunity to lead various projects and functional areas within higher education including student outreach and engagement, student programming, student admissions and advising, financial aid, academic program development, program evaluation, curriculum course and program development, accreditation, strategic planning, and staff and faculty professional development and learning.

In her consulting roles, Julia works side by side with leaders and individual contributors within organizations. She supports these individuals (and teams) to challenge assumptions, clarify goals, develop strategies to meet documented goals, monitor and assess progress, iterate processes, and engage in reflection and storytelling.
