Cabinet turnover is disrupting leadership teams across higher education—often stalling momentum, fragmenting alignment, and putting student success outcomes at risk. As priorities shift and new leaders step in, even strong investments in student success strategy and technology can lose traction without a clear, shared understanding at the Cabinet level. This session tackles that challenge directly. We’ll explore how leaders can quickly rebuild alignment, reestablish ownership of student success priorities, and ensure technology investments and data insights remain central in Cabinet-level conversations and decisions. We’ll also show how EAB can act as a stabilizing force during transition, from engaging in Cabinet meetings and retreats to providing targeted guidance that sustains continuity. Throughout, we’ll highlight how Strategic Leaders (SLs) and EAB expertise help institutions maintain focus, accelerate re-alignment, and implement guardrails to mitigate the disruption caused by future transitions.
