Students face a future more complex and less predictable than the one school systems were built for. There are more options than ever, but also fewer linear pathways from school to career, especially as AI continues to reshape work.

As a result, students face unprecedented access to opportunities alongside greater uncertainty about which paths will lead to stable outcomes.

This encore presentation from our summer executive roundtables will ask district leaders to rethink what “readiness” means, focusing on how to create systems to ensure students make informed decisions, take ownership of their path, and translate their high school experiences into a clear, actionable plan for what comes next.

Together, we will explore:

  • Which K-12 experiences and career pathway touchpoints most reliably shape long-term student success
  • How AI is redefining how schools should prepare students to be college-and career-ready
