Cristina Lawson

Cristina Lawson partners with colleges and universities to strengthen student persistence and belonging. As a Strategic Leader, Cristina works closely with institutional leaders to increase collaboration across departments, help campuses turn strategy into practice, and use data to inform student support.

Cristina brings more than twenty years of experience in academic and student affairs. Throughout her career, Cristina has led creative, institution-wide change efforts focused on improving the student experience. Her previous work includes scaling the first-year experience, building cohort-based programs, developing faculty and peer mentorship initiatives, and expanding experiential learning through internships.

Cristina is based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Outside of work, you can find her trying a new restaurant, running with friends, or attending the city’s many festivals and cultural events.
