Before the Data Drops: Your Program Portfolio and the Earnings Test
Partner Event
Awareness of a rule is only a first step. Institutions also need to understand which academic programs may be affected and who should help determine what comes next.
This Community of Practice brings provosts and chief financial officers together as institutional pairs to consider how academic and financial leaders can assess program exposure. The discussion will focus on how institutions can identify potentially affected programs and clarify responsibility for evaluating possible responses.
Through facilitated peer discussion, participants will compare how they are approaching decisions about whether to support, restructure, or close programs. They will also consider how those decisions connect to academic efficiency and FY28 budget planning.
This Community of Practice will create space for provosts and chief financial officers to share questions, learn from peers, and consider how to coordinate their approach before budget and program decisions take shape.
