Michael Fischer

Senior Director, Research

Michael Fischer is a Senior Director of Research, overseeing EAB’s Administrative Effectiveness research group. Michael works closely with business and operational leaders to diagnose challenges and unearth best practices to improve the financial sustainability and operating efficiency of campuses. His research specialties include administrative effectiveness, revenue generation, cost containment, organizational transformation, and building design trends.

Michael joined EAB in 2016 and has served in both research and advising roles at the firm. Prior to joining EAB, he held various educational positions in the United States and United Kingdom. Off-hours, he enjoys baking, gardening, and tabletop games with his wife and two sons.
