Angela Street

Director, Research Advisory Services

Angela Street serves as a Director of Research Advisory Services at EAB, where she delivers best practice research and advises higher education cabinet leadership and their direct reports on various topics across the landscape of higher education.

Angela’s career in higher education began working in Student Activities and Leadership at the University of Georgia. She later found an interest in student retention and teaching first-year students. Her career has afforded her the opportunity to work with student success programs and teach at public, private, online and two-year institutions including The University of South Carolina, Edgewood College, Blackhawk Technical College, American Public University System and prior to EAB, North Carolina Central University where she served as Interim Executive Director of Student Academic Success.

In 2014, she completed a 3-year cycle as a Directorate Board Member for the Commission for Assessment and Evaluation with the American College Personnel Association. She received training in first year experience course development from the National Resource Center for the First Year Experience and Students in Transition at the University of South Carolina and holds a certificate in Designing Learning with The Association for Talent and Development. Angela is a 2022 Higher Education Leadership Fellow (HELF) where she was initiated into the Nu Cohort sponsored by the Higher Education Leadership Foundation focusing on the advancement of Historically Black Colleges (HBCUs).

Currently, Angela works to advise Vice Presidents of Student Affairs, Chief Diversity Officers and Advancement Officers on decision making, strategy planning and stakeholder engagement through best practice support. She is a frequent presenter and facilitator for the American Association for Schools, Colleges and Universities (AASCU) and EAB’s Future Presidents Intensive. Angela supports both the commercial and technology teams with partner strategy and engagement and regularly represents EAB at HBCU focused meetings and conferences.

She currently resides Maryland and spends most of her time with loved ones, watching new documentaries or traveling to new places and seeking new adventures.
