Brian Markham

Brian Markham has served as EAB’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) since 2019. With over 25 years of experience, Brian is a seasoned IT leader and manager with a strong background in higher education and technology consulting, serving both public and private sector clients.

At EAB, Brian oversees the team that is responsible for the corporate information security program as well as the security of partner-facing software platforms. Prior to joining EAB, Brian was a member of the Information Security teams at George Washington University and the University of Maryland at College Park. As a consultant, Brian worked in both Advisory and Assurance practices at KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

Outside of work, Brian is active across the information security industry, as a mentor to cybersecurity professionals and as a formal advisor to multiple security start-ups. In his spare time, Brian enjoys spending time with his family, reading, collecting sneakers, and playing baseball.
