Helena Pieroulli

Helena Pieroulli is Senior Director at EAB, bringing more than a decade of experience advancing global partnerships, driving enrolment growth and shaping institutional expansion strategies across higher education.

She began her career in international admissions and recruitment within both public and private sector universities in the UK, where she led initiatives to increase international student enrolment while developing and negotiating cross-border partnership agreements — long before transnational education became a strategic priority for the sector. She later spent five years leading international expansion at a global awarding body and went on to build and scale a global partner success function within an edtech startup, co-creating innovative products and services aligned to evolving institutional and industry needs.

Helena holds an extensive academic portfolio, including both academic and professional postgraduate qualifications. Most recently, she earned a Postgraduate Certificate Learning & Teaching in Higher Education with a focus on curriculum innovation and soft-skill development through leveraging international students as a strategic resource and asset, earning her a Distinction and an Academic Excellence Award. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) in Higher Education Management, where her research is centered on institutional consolidation and long-term sector sustainability.
