Associate Director, Moon Shot for Social & Economic Mobility

Jessica Leacher is an Associate Director/ Consultant for EAB’s Moon Shot for Social and Economic Mobility. In this role, she leads partnerships with higher education institutions to implement strategies that eliminate disparities in outcomes such as retention, graduation, and economic mobility. She facilitates institution-wide change by guiding teams through data-informed best practices, training, and strategic use of student success technologies.

A strategic and mission-driven consultant, she brings over a decade of experience leading high-impact projects in the higher education and nonprofit sectors. With a career spanning roles at the Aspen Institute’s College Excellence Program, University of Michigan, Council of Chief State School Officers, and the Michigan State University College Advising Corps, Jessica specializes in facilitating transformative engagements that promote equity, leadership development, and systemic change in higher education. She brings a nuanced understanding of belonging and inclusive practice to her consulting approach, rooted in her academic training in Community Change Social Work at the University of Michigan and practical experience managing equity-focused initiatives and events.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys knitting, yoga, and playing with her dog, Ruthie.
