Kory Smalzer

Kory Smalzer is the Director of Strategic Partnerships for Match at EAB. In this role, Kory leads the strategy and execution of student-acquisition channels that power Match, EAB’s infrastructure for direct admission. Kory spearheaded the launch of EAB’s newest statewide and regional direct admission initiatives efforts that expand access to higher education by bridging institutions, systems, and students through streamlined enrollment pathways.

Before joining EAB, Kory worked as a regional admissions counselor for multiple Chicagoland institutions and served on the Associate Board of Chicago Scholars guiding thousands of students and families through the college-going process. With deep roots in education, both through her professional experience and as the daughter of two retired teachers, Kory brings a lifelong commitment to expanding access and supporting students on their college and career pathways.
