Matthew Feger

Matthew Feger works with higher education leaders to help institutions unlock the full value of their data by breaking down silos, strengthening data quality, and establishing durable governance practices. He partners closely with executive and technical stakeholders to build enterprise data strategies that enable institutions to operate from a single source of truth and make confident, data-informed decisions at scale.

Matthew’s work focuses on aligning people, process, and technology to create sustainable data ecosystems—ensuring that insights are not only accessible, but trusted and actionable across the institution. He has supported colleges and universities in modernizing their data infrastructure, improving cross-functional collaboration, and advancing analytics capabilities to drive institutional performance.

Prior to his current role, Matthew spent several years on EAB’s research team, where he worked directly with senior leaders to translate emerging trends into practical, institution-wide strategies. Earlier in his career, he led strategic growth initiatives at Student Veterans of America, partnering with national veteran-services organizations and federal agencies to improve on-campus services for military veterans and service members.
