Melissa Lantta, Ph.D.

Melissa Lantta, Ph.D., serves as a Student Success Strategic Leader at EAB, leveraging her extensive higher education experience and passion for data-driven strategies to support institutions in aligning their strategic goals with actionable metrics. Melissa has worked with over 26 California Community Colleges and Washington State partners, driving initiatives like Degree Planner and Starfish implementations.

Previously, she served as Registrar, Advising Coordinator and Starfish Administrator at Blackhawk Technical College, leading early alert processes and retention efforts. Melissa’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in Leadership for Higher Education from Cardinal Stritch University, with a focus on student persistence, and roles in advising and faculty development at UW-Madison and UW Oshkosh. She holds a Google Data Analytics and Project Management certificate.

In her spare time, she enjoys coaching Girls on the Run, singing, reading, and spending time with her family.
