Michelle R. Beatty

Strategic Leader, Student Success

Michelle brings more than two decades of experience in the higher education field including admissions, advising, residence life, teaching, retention and student success. Michelle has served in both public and private institutions, large and small. She was previously the Starfish functional lead at SUNY Broome Community College and during that time earned the Starfish Education Advances Award for Advising in 2019. She brings a broad cross-section of experience and application to the team as well as a sincere commitment to holistic student support.

Michelle currently serves as a Strategic Leader providing consultative services for the continued optimization and expansion of the use of Starfish to meet institutional goals for student success.

Michelle and her husband keep busy with their family of three school-aged daughters who participate in many extracurricular activities. She is an active volunteer and leader in her church, the girls’ schools, and her community. Michelle also enjoys caring for the family pets, including a dog and two house bunnies.
