Owen Crean

Owen Crean serves as Managing Director and Principal at EAB, where he partners with senior executive leaders in higher education to shape institutional strategy and achieve enrollment and revenue goals. As a leader within EAB’s Adult Learner Recruitment division, Owen spearheads innovative, revenue-generating initiatives that leverage AI, data science, consumer analytics, and large-scale hyper-personalization to optimize student recruitment and engagement.

Over his 12-year tenure at EAB, Owen has advised university Presidents, Chancellors, Provosts, Chief Business Officers, Enrollment Officers, and other senior executives on a wide array of institutional priorities. His areas of expertise span strategic planning, marketing and recruitment, non-traditional revenue generation, budget model transformation, facilities strategy, data governance, information security, and institutional advancement.

A results-driven executive, Owen is known for aligning university objectives with EAB’s capabilities to deliver measurable financial impact. He resides in Roswell, Georgia, and enjoys college football, tennis, skiing, adventuring outdoors, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
