Philip Walton
Associate Director, SEO & Paid Search Strategy
Philip serves as the Associate Director of SEO and Paid Search Strategy at EAB, bringing over a decade of expertise in search engine optimization (SEO) and paid search. His unique blend of skills makes him an invaluable member of the Agency Services team.
Philip began his career in 2012 as an SEO strategist at a Richmond, VA-based agency, where he worked with clients ranging from local businesses to multi-million-dollar companies seeking to enhance their search visibility.
Recognizing the growing need for SEO support in higher education, Philip joined EAB in 2020 and became instrumental in establishing and expanding the SEO team. Starting as a team of one, he has helped grow the department to include seven SEO specialists. Under his leadership, the team partners with schools to navigate the increasingly competitive search landscape, improving search visibility and ensuring prospective students find the right content to drive stronger conversions.
Beyond his professional role, Philip enjoys spending time with his family, leading his son’s Cub Scout den, exploring the outdoors through camping, reading the latest bestseller, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
