Rich Conner
Command Sergeant Major, USA (Ret.), Consultant and Principal, Uniformed Services
Rich Conner serves as Consultant and Principal in EAB’s Uniformed Services recruiting division, where he helps military and uniformed partners strengthen recruiting strategy and performance. Drawing on firsthand experience leading large-scale recruiting organizations, Rich works with partners to diagnose recruiting challenges, identify market and audience opportunities, and translate data-driven insights into practical strategies that support recruiting and accession goals.
Before joining EAB, Rich served 23 years in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Command Sergeant Major. Throughout his military career, he held senior recruiting and leadership roles with responsibility for recruiting operations, talent acquisition strategy, organizational performance, and the development of high-performing teams across complex and geographically dispersed organizations.
At EAB, Rich brings a practitioner’s perspective to partners navigating an increasingly complex recruiting environment. He focuses on connecting strategy, audience insights, marketing, operational execution, and performance measurement to help Uniformed Services partners reach the right prospects, improve recruiting effectiveness, and build stronger, more sustainable talent pipelines.
Rich also holds a Master of Arts in Leadership Studies from the University of Texas at El Paso. Outside of work, Rich enjoys spending time with his wife, Bonnie, and their three children. An avid golfer, he especially enjoys regularly taking on his Navy veteran friends, winning one for the Army, and embarrassing them at every opportunity.
