Savon Sampson
Managing Director, Research Partner Success
Savon Sampson is currently a Managing Director in Research Partner Success. She serves as a dedicated advisor to senior campus leaders at large public and private institutions. Savon helps her partners navigate higher ed’s current headwinds by strategically leveraging EAB’s resources and expertise. She has a gift in helping college and university leaders challenge the status quo and activate change.
Savon recently served as a senior leader within the Strategic Research team where she leveraged her expertise in and outside the sector to help colleges and universities develop strategic plans and achieve short and long-term enrollment and financial sustainability goals. She started at EAB in the Adult Learner Recruitment division where she developed innovative marketing, recruitment, and program growth strategies to foster adult learner enrollment and revenue growth for over 50 colleges and universities.
Prior to joining EAB, Savon spent over 15 years leading marketing and product strategy for Fortune 50 companies like Target and McKesson. She was known for the omni-channel marketing campaigns, product launches, and sales enablement strategies she designed and deployed across the marketing mix.
Outside of EAB, Savon is passionate about her community and volunteers with the PTA at her daughters’ school. She has also served on the Board of Trustees for her alma mater, Hollins University and as a Past President of the Junior League of Richmond. In her free time, Savon enjoys lifting weights at her local CrossFit gym and playing tennis.
Savon received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Hollins University and an Executive MBA from the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at the College of William and Mary.
