Savon Sampson

Senior Director, Strategic Research

Prior to joining EAB, Savon spent over 15 years leading marketing and product strategy for Fortune 50 companies like Target and McKesson. She was known for the omni-channel marketing campaigns, product launches, and sales enablement strategies she designed and deployed across the marketing mix. Savon started at EAB in the Adult Learner Recruitment division where she developed innovative marketing, recruitment, and program growth strategies to foster adult learner enrollment and revenue growth for over 50 colleges and universities. As a member of the Strategic Research team, Savon leverages her expertise in and outside the sector to help colleges and universities develop and achieve short and long-term enrollment and financial sustainability goals.

Savon has a gift in helping colleges and universities challenge the status quo. She is uniquely positioned to push Cabinet leaders on strategic differentiation by thinking about prospective students as consumers, the university as a brand and the education they provide as a product.

Outside of EAB, Savon is passionate about her community and serves on the Board of Trustees for her alma mater, Hollins University. She is also a Past President of the Junior League of Richmond.

Savon received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Hollins University and is pursuing an Executive MBA at the College of William and Mary with an estimated completion date of June 2024.
