Senthil Kumar

Dr. Kumar is a senior higher education professional with 23 years of expertise in Comprehensive Strategic Initiatives, Athletics, and Global Operations, along with 8 years in senior management roles in Human Resources, Administration, and M.I.S.

Currently serving as Executive in Residence, Dr. Kumar collaborates with EAB’s Strategy and New Ventures team to define and launch international student recruitment products, including positioning of solutions, approach to ‘agent credentialing,’ the definition of the business model, and other key activities.

Before joining EAB, Dr. Kumar led strategic enrollment management at six institutions, overseeing recruitment, admissions, financial aid, marketing, communications, academic services, and internationalization. His leadership contributed to record-breaking outcomes, enrolling over 30,000 new students across undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, international, and online programs. These efforts also improved net tuition revenue by over $329 million, kept discount rates below the national average, and strengthened global market share. Dr. Kumar’s strategic guidance has consistently resulted in successful and sustainable enrollment growth.
