Structure must follow strategy. Yet for many advancement teams, organizational structures are laid out based on historical precedent or personality rather than on the institution’s imperatives.

Sessions

This session will explore insights from 100+ organizational design reviews that the EAB research team has conducted. The session will link advancement’s emerging aims with organizational design imperatives that advancement leaders would be wise to follow as they think about how they build or rebuild their organization. EAB experts will share success stories from across the industry of institutions implementing these strategies in a multitude of smart ways.

Advancement leaders will have an opportunity to share how the examples discussed in the session could be implemented on campus.
