Given the economic impacts of the pandemic and nationwide decreasing student enrollments, district leaders are bracing for declining revenues and difficult financial times that will likely last for years. Thus, districts must prepare now to face their changing financial situations while minimizing the negative impacts on student outcomes.

EAB will host a collaborative series to help districts navigate a recession that includes EAB research and time to crowdsource solutions with other superintendents and district leaders.

  • Explore the most promising district approaches to generating alternative revenue to help keep district budgets manageable during hard financial times.

Thursday, February 4 | 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time

  • Explore ways to start thinking past the bake sale and more seriously about fundraising with local communities and alumni by learning from years of research and experience in higher education.
