Edify Data Strategy Series

The Edify Data Strategy Series consists of four interactive sessions focused on popular Edify Accelerators. Accelerators are workspaces with flexible multi-source analytics designed to answer a common set of higher ed business questions. Sessions will focus on program review, enrollment, advancement, and student success.

Sessions

This series is suitable for Edify partners, Academic Performance Solutions (APS) partners, and any other individuals interested in learning more about Edify. Attendees will learn how these tools can support their institutional priorities, as well as hear how institutions are using these Accelerators today.

• For current Edify partners, these sessions are great opportunities to spark ideas for Edify professional service hours utilization, discuss challenges, and network with peers in similar institutional roles.
• For institutions that do not yet have Edify, these sessions are opportunities to learn more about the product and how it can bring value to your institution via customized dashboard capabilities.

West Virginia University and South Dakota Board of Regents: Streamline the Program Review Process with Custom Dashboards

Program review is a long-term process that institutions undergo to evaluate their academic programs. The process, while necessary, can be tedious and exacerbated by the inability to collect similar information across programs. In this session, we will be joined by guest speakers from West Virginia University (WVU) and the South Dakota Board of Regents (SDBOR). WVU streamlined their program review process with Academic Performance Solutions (APS) metrics and built a customized Edify dashboard to further enhance their process. SDBOR built customized Edify dashboards for all six of their campuses, providing standardized data and resources across the system.

Elmira College: Elevate Your Enrollment Strategy with Edify

Student enrollment is practically everyone’s job at an institution. Various individuals from across campus contribute to enrollment numbers–from setting the strategy to managing academic programs, and more. In this session, Eric Sykes, vice president, enrollment management at Elmira College, will share about the process of building their Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) Accelerator with Edify and their plans for leveraging the analytics to inform their enrollment strategy. Attendees will also receive a demonstration of the accelerator.

Grow and Sustain Your Donor Base with Advancement Data

Advancement plays a critical part in sustaining and growing institutional revenue. In this session, attendees will learn about an Advancement focused analytics workspace that will allow leaders to identify opportunities to reach more prospects, retain current donors, and expand their advancement efforts. Additionally, the workspace enables users to identify trends in pledges, donations, and donors to inform their advancement strategy.

Improve Student Success Outcomes with Edify

Student success is the primary goal of every higher education institution – and there are many different approaches to this work. With students’ continuously evolving needs, institutional leaders must use data to identify unique ways to better support all student populations. In this session, we’ll discuss the wide range of Edify Accelerators that can empower leaders with data to better support student success. Specifically, we’ll explore the following Accelerators: Course Success Equity, Financial Barriers Identifier, LMS Utilization, Success and Retention Opportunities, and Transfer Success Equity. We’ll provide a demonstration of one of these Accelerators of the audience’s choice.
