Join us for a webinar presented by Middle Tennessee State University’s (MTSU) Rebecca Cole, Associate Provost for Academic Administration and Resources, and Dr. Brian Hinote, Professor and Associate Vice Provost for Data Analytics & Student Success. If you attended the 2021 APS Virtual Summit, you’ll recall that Rebecca and Dr. Hinote shared about MTSU’s annual health check-up process and made a nod to their faculty line request process. During this webinar, they will go more in depth on the latter process and share insights from their experience.

Attendees will learn how MTSU leaders:

  • Centrally designed and implemented their faculty line request process by incorporating Academic Performance Solutions (APS) data
  • Communicated about the new process to get cultural buy-in
  • Iterated on a templatized Excel worksheet for department chairs to complete
  • Designed a support infrastructure for worksheet completion
  • Continuously seek to improve the faculty line request process to best support their institution (e.g., replacing the Excel template with a customized dashboard)
