The Balancing Act of Free Speech, Civility, and Campus Safety

Spring’s campus unrest consumed many leadership teams’ energies as the immediacy of the situation crowded out bandwidth. The Fall’s upcoming elections and expected disruptions threaten to do the same, yet the work of running the university and the necessity to advance strategic initiatives remain.

As strategy officer, you will be called upon to support strategy and operationalization of the president and cabinet as they publicly engage on a range of complex and polarizing issues. Join EAB Senior Director Jennifer Latino and Vice President and Chief of Staff at The University of Texas at Dallas Dr. Rafael Martín for a discussion of best practices to both address campus flashpoints and move ahead on important efforts outside of immediate issues.
