Join us for a very special CPO session featuring Winston Salem State University. Participants will learn how to use the Course Planning and Course Analysis tabs in the Course Planning Optimization (CPO) dashboard to make informed course and section planning decisions. Attendees will also see an example of data-informed course scheduling from Anthony Artimisi, Associate Provost for Academic Strategy and Institutional Effectiveness at Winston-Salem State University.  Both tabs will take you on a high level and in depth view of historical course and student progress data and analysis that are vital to course planning. The CPO dashboard has helped users better understand, anticipate and act on course changes in response to fluctuating student demand.

Session

In this session, attendees will have the opportunity to follow along in their institution’s CPO dashboard and complete a guided worksheet. This is a great opportunity for new CPO users and more tenured users looking for a refresher for the spring 2025 term. This session is best suited for Provosts, Associate Provosts, Deans, Department Chairs, Academic Affairs, and other individuals involved in the course planning process.
