Engaging, Recruiting Back, and Supporting Stopout Students

This event has passed.

How do we demonstrate to students we have failed in the past that our college is better equipped to help them fulfill their goals today? According to National Student Clearinghouse, 36 million people in the United States has some college and no degree. Institutions that remove obstacles to re-admission and address learners’ needs can reach this population and meaningfully move the dial on degree attainment. Drastic enrollment declines demand focus on retention and re-recruiting students who have left your college, delivering on the unfulfilled promise of higher education. This session provides research and strategies to recruit back your stopped-out students, engage them on campus, and deliver the support they need to succeed.
