Join Rapid Insight product experts to learn how you can save time while completing your annual and ad hoc reporting—and hear how other Rapid Insight users have used Construct to do just this.

This series consists of three sessions, during which we will guide you through how to use Construct to simplify processes related to three common institutional reporting needs: IPEDS, accreditation, and ad hoc reporting. We will share techniques to support each type of reporting and provide sample jobs within Construct that will outline reusable processes and useful techniques that can be used in your future reporting. You’ll also hear from and on behalf of partners who have used Rapid Insight to streamline their institutional reporting, saving them time year over year.

  • Thursday, March 28, 2024 | 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time
  • Thursday, July 11, 2024 | 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time
  • Thursday, November 7, 2024 | 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time
Session One: IPEDS Reporting

In this session, we’ll delve into three key areas that are essential for any Rapid Insight user responsible for annual IPEDS reporting: fixed width formatting, transposing data, and creating flags for key demographics.

This session will simplify the process of creating fixed width files to upload your data for IPEDS reporting. You’ll find that once you’ve built a job creating fixed width files, it is easy to modify or change it for future reporting needs. We will share templatized guidance for you to explore and use at your institution after the session. Attendees will also learn how to transpose data to align with desired output, and how to create flags for key demographics.

Whether you’re a seasoned Rapid Insight user or just starting out, this roundtable will equip you with the techniques and strategies needed to streamline your IPEDS reporting process.

Session Two: Accreditation Reporting

This session will help you navigate annual accreditation reporting using Construct in Rapid Insight.

We’ll walk through how to align your data with historical areas of focus and how to create Construct jobs that revolve around those topics. Hear from Rapid Insight users who have leveraged workflows that automatically clean data, distribute reports, and format data for compliance reporting. You’ll gain practical insights into structuring and executing data analysis jobs that align with your institution’s particular accreditation requirements and priorities. You will leave the session with a sample job showcasing techniques you can use to expedite your own accreditation reporting process in Construct.

Session Three: Ad Hoc Reporting

Rapid Insight users field a host of reporting requests outside of annual compliance reporting. In this session, we’ll shift our focus to leveraging Rapid Insight to maximize efficiency in your ad hoc reporting processes.

Learn how to recycle existing sub-routines within Rapid Insight to save time and effort as you respond to ad hoc reporting requests. As part of the session, we’ll provide you with examples showcasing useful techniques to address common ad hoc reporting scenarios.

With the right tools, you can automate reports, speed up recurring tasks, and equip decision-makers to access data on their own. These improvements free your team to apply their expertise to other strategic priorities, building IR’s influence on campus.
