Starfish Office Hours provides the opportunity for tenant administrators to connect with peers from other institutions and the consultants on the Services team.

During office hours, admins discuss platform questions and share ideas related to adoption, promotion, and feature configuration.


Join product experts from the EAB Starfish Services team and fellow Starfish admins to talk through platform questions and hear from your peers.

Becky Carpenter

Becky Carpenter

Senior Associate, Technology Partner Services

Becky Carpenter is a consultant with EAB’s Technology Partner Services team. Becky works closely with 2- and 4-year colleges implementing new Starfish technologies, as well as providing ongoing support to partners through Starfish Office Hours and additional webinars. She is dedicated to being a trusted resource for partners in their ongoing work to support student success.

Prior to joining EAB, Becky was the Director of Learning Support Services at a 2-year institution where she oversaw their Accessibility, Tutoring, and Testing services, and Student Retention and Success Technology. Prior to her work in higher education, Becky worked for over twenty years as an Occupational Therapist in K-12 districts, supporting students with disabilities. In her free time, Becky enjoys exercising, reading, exploring new places, and time with family and friends.

Becky earned a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from DePauw University.

Eileen Tare

Eileen Taré

Senior Associate

Eileen is a Consultant for the Services team in Technology Partner Success. In this role, she helps partners implement core Starfish as well as any additional Starfish products. Before joining EAB, Eileen spent 8 years in Higher Education with experience in Conduct, Disability Services, Admissions, and Retention Services, with her primary expertise in Advising. She also spent time as a Starfish Admin as well as a Navigate user.

When not working, Eileen enjoys spending time with her ever-growing family, reading, and working out.

Eileen holds a Master of Education from James Madison University in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in College Student Personnel Administration. She also received her Bachelors from James Madison in Psychology. Eileen is also a proud Community College alumna having received her Associates in Arts and Science from Laurel Ridge Community College.

Veronica Wooten

Veronica Wooten

Associate Director, Technology Partner Services

Veronica is a consultant on the Technology Partner Services team at EAB. In this role, she works with partners implementing new Starfish technologies for their institutions. Veronica strives to be informative, insightful, and engaging as she guides partners through data requirements; configuration decisions; and training considerations needed to successfully launch the solution.

Veronica was previously an academic counselor at a large, public research university in Kentucky. It was there that she became a student success champion and developed an appreciation for the ways in which technology could be used to facilitate meaningful connections with students.

Melissa Friddle

Melissa Friddle

Senior Associate, Technology Partner Services

Melissa Friddle is a seasoned professional with 10 years of experience in the higher education sector, prior to joining EAB. Her extensive background in the industry has equipped her with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the field. Currently serving as a Senior Associate in the Technology Partner Services division at EAB, Melissa focuses her expertise on managing Student Success Technology partner implementations and impact to empower educational institutions in their student success initiatives. This includes managing project timelines, consulting partners on workflow design related to implementation, and ensuring partners successfully go live on time, gaining early value in the Starfish technology. Beyond her professional endeavors, Melissa is an avid adventurer, exploring new destinations through adventure travel, kayaking, camping, and hiking. She also enjoys playing music and attending concerts.
