Recapturing the “Return on Athletics”
A Session For Chief Strategy Officers
While the biggest disruptors like conference realignment and NIL impact some institutions more the others, no one is immune from the tumultuous landscape in college athletics. In today’s environment, calculating the real return on athletics is complicated—and pressure to “do less with less” makes the equation even more complex. Institutions need to account for the supplemental mission- and margin-critical goals that sports contribute to. That means tracking net tuition revenue and intangible outcomes like donor and alumni engagement, branding and marketing, and the student value proposition.
Leaders must reframe athletics to be a differentiator and focus on a comprehensive “Return on Athletics.” Join EAB’s Mary Frances Harris for a discussion about how to reposition athletics from a cost center to a strategic differentiator.
Register to:
- Learn about the current challenges in athletics
- Uncover different approaches to review how the athletics portfolio contributes to institutional goals
