This hour-long session will interrogate the current and future realities of GenAI’s impact across industries and workplaces.

This session is designed to guide university leaders to parse through the media hype around GenAI and make clear and informed decisions about their plan to train learners with the right skills for the GenAI future. It teaches leaders how to understand the hype cycle in a new way, how to think about what skills to teach, and which programmes to prioritize to prepare students for success in a GenAI economy. It will also demonstrate why current market listening strategies won’t help with understanding GenAI, and it will show what leading indicators to begin tracking instead.

Attendees will come away with an understanding of how they should be thinking about GenAI, particularly across the professional, continuing and online education portfolio, to prepare not for what exists today, but where we’re headed.
