This series helps your institution use Starfish analytics and core capabilities to surface emerging trends, validate assumptions, and guide targeted mid-year interventions. Attend 1, 2, or all 3 sessions based on your priorities. While the cohort highlights Operational and Strategic Analytics, it also incorporates strategies relevant to Starfish Core—so all Starfish partners are welcome.

Session One – Clarify Your Questions & Define Your Scope
Use early-term data to zero in on the spring questions that matter most—whether you’re tracking academic momentum, monitoring risk patterns, or evaluating how students are engaging with support. You’ll identify your key hypothesis and determine which Starfish metrics will best illuminate the insight you’re chasing.

Session Two – Pull and Prepare Your Data
Explore how to extract and structure the right data using Starfish Operational Analytics, Strategic Analytics, and core reporting tools. We’ll walk through how to organize your data pull, isolate meaningful signals, and prepare your dataset for interpretation or deeper trend analysis.

Session Three – Transform Insights into a Compelling Story (Joint Session)
A shared Navigate + Starfish session focused on turning your findings into a powerful narrative.

We’ll cover:

  • How to build a clear, evidence-based case study
  • Ways to apply EAB’s storytelling and case-building toolkit
  • Strategies for shaping your narrative for conference proposals (CFPs)
  • Q&A on leveraging technology and analytics to showcase impact
