Onboarding New Users

This session will focus on onboarding new users to the Edify application. We’ll share EAB’s best practice suggestions for a quick-start training plan to create a welcoming and supportive environment for new users.

Using Edify’s Validation Tools

This month’s Edify Office Hours covered how to use the validation tools available in Edify: Profiling, Data Quality Validations, and Data Freshness Validations. The session goes through an example of how to go from the summary validation results to act on individual data inaccuracies to improve overall data health.

This Office Hours session will provide an overview of the Data Catalog feature within Edify which enables partners to document business definitions and connect them directly with data contained within Edify. We will also walk through the Data Catalog Toolkit as a resource to inform your strategic use of the Data Catalog feature to improve data literacy across your institution and promote data governance.

Basics of ELT Process

This session is intended for less technical Edify users with the objective to provide a high level explanation of how data flows through Edify along with Edify’ s data lineage and data governance features for anyone engaging with the tool to understand.
