About Our Past Event

Whether in response to low faculty morale, challenges related to faculty recruitment and retention, or the need to build a more equitable pay structure, many independent schools are turning to performance-based compensation models.

Session

During this hour-long session, participants will learn about the two primary models independent schools are using: the merit increase model and the promotional model.

By attending this session, participants will gain the following:

    • Insight into the benefits and drawbacks of different compensation models from panelists from three independent schools

    • Clarity around how each model was selected, how faculty weighed into the selection process, and how financial sustainability was ensured

    • Answers to their most-pressing questions about implementing a new performance-based compensation model

This session is best suited for Heads of School, Assistant Heads of School, Chief Financial Officers, and Human Resources Directors. Registration for this session is limited to one attendee per institution.
