About the Webconference
This session presents an analysis and key insights from the Philanthropy Leadership Council’s 2011 survey of major gift officers, focusing on recruitment and retention of these development officers. We present findings regarding major gift officers’ typical backgrounds, their reasons for joining and staying with their current organizations, and factors that may draw them to other positions or organizations. The session draws on data pulled from major gift officers across the Philanthropy Leadership Council membership, as well as relevant research from our HR Investment Center.
